McLeod Nutrition is in the beautiful town of Oamaru in the South Island of New Zealand. Located in Central Chambers, alongside General Medical and Physiotherapy practices, there is a focus on health and wellbeing.

Recognising the need for accessible Dietitian services in Oamaru, we have introduced Dunedin-based Dietitian Helen Gibbs to hold private consultations in a clinic setting within McLeod Nutrition.

Dr Andrew McLeod, born and raised in Oamaru, is on a mission to make meaningful impact on the well-being of the elderly and those facing health challenges. 

Andrew moved from Oamaru in 1988 to pursue his studies in Pharmacy at the University of Otago. His dedication to the field led him to complete his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at UCSF in San Francisco, USA. For the duration of his science career, Andrew was a key figure in Research & Development at Douglas Pharmaceuticals in West Auckland. His role involved the creation of a diverse range of important medicines into New Zealand and export markets: USA, Europe, Australia, Middle East and Asia.

After a 35-year journey in the pharmaceutical industry, he has returned to his hometown to establish McLeod Nutrition. With a deep commitment to helping individuals with medical and nutritional issues, Andrew is focused on creating nourishing products that make people happy and healthy.
