Quiche using Whey Protein Concentrate

Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet pre-made pie pastry
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (any type)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (e.g., spinach, capsicum, mushrooms)
  • 2 tablespoons of McLeod Nutrition Whey Protein Concentrate powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, whey protein concentrate powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and crimp the edges if desired.
  4. Spread the chopped vegetables and shredded cheese evenly over the crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
